![]() ![]() Along the same lines, I've stopped caring "which is better" and I simply train hard to learn whatever the market demands of me - similar to how a soccer player doesn't debate what shin pads are legal or illegal - they simply get on with it and practice, practice, practice. I think of myself as an athlete, and the software is akin to the equipment I use, like a soccer player's shin pads, for example. These days I don't view the software as a better or worse tool. You might want to read a blog post by Mike Jones: Lightworks and Nobody Cares The audience is fairly small, with a handful of hollywood editors using it - the only claim to its legitimacy as it stands right now. By and large, Lightworks has (surprisingly) failed to expand its user base. This has been an interesting topic for a couple years.
